Oh you mean Antinomianism.

Re: Open Letter to All

Dear Elder Steve Epley,

We have posted together for many years. We have agreed and disagreed on some pretty big issues. But I have always respected you and have always had deep regard for you. I appreciate not just your stand, but the reasoning behind what you believe. Your path is not the same one I am on, but I respect men of faith and principle who are bold enough to stand up in a place where you will not get respect, nor be respected.

It seems I have been a appologist for you at different times when you were too much of a gentleman to defend yourself. That is an odd thing because as often as that has been the case, I have also not been in agreement with you on a number of issues.

I just wanted to add to the chorus of noise makers and raise my hand and say "thank you".

Thank you for being here. Thank you for articulating your views so well. Thank you for being willing to stand up to the heat of those who do not believe respect means anything. Thank you for the very many times, you have broken down some particular passage.

I am the better for having met you....even if that meeting has been "vertual"! God bless you and all you do for the Kingdom.

Ferd.

Dear Elder Epley

I would like to say that you and me agree on many doctrinal issues, but unfortunately we disagree on others.

Nevertheless I still appreciate you and would never wish ill upon you, only desiring blessings of the Lord upon you. If you ever need your shoelaces tied, or your shoes shined I would consider it an honor if I was allowed to do that task for you.

your most humble servant and brother.

Some on this forum I have been posting with since Jim Yohe's FCF and become friendly to even though we have fervently disagreed. It was very different then and many of you have changed and I am afraid not for the better.
I have remained the same doctrinally and my manner of posting. I do not nor ever have rejoiced over anyone being lost. A friend started that All Trinitarians are Lost on that forum to stir the pot since we had many on that forum who were Pentecostal but didn't believe the necessity of the new birth message or the necessity of believing the Oneness message. The fussing was fun.
Since many of you do not even go to a Oneness church and not only do not believe the necessity of the Oneness message and in truth despise your birthright I understand you being offended. All I can say is too bad.
My doctrinal positions are absolutes not changing with the wind I have zero desire to please you. Do I want to offend you personally or do I say personal remarks against you? Nope. Unless it is some light sarcasm in fun.
Those who have went through personal ordeals I have prayed for you. On one poster I helped convert back to the truth.
Baptism in Jesus Name, tongues, holiness, church attendance, preachers in general are mocked here on regular basis. Yet folks of my ilk are suppose to take it on the chin and say nothing.
But you let one of us say something about what the majority of us believed and lived at one time then all hell breaks loose. Your skin is as thin as a rotten tomato. Bless your heart.
I do not have my feelings on my sleeves and not offended by someone who hides behind a moniker like a klansman who runs around in a hood and sheet at night. I have always from day 1 used my name where I would be accountable for what I post. Have I posted posts in heat and regretted them? I most certainly have and have tried to be quick to apologize which normally has been ridiculed.
You might not like me nor what I believe but you are never in doubt where I stand and I stand the same on issues I stood when I started posting years ago on FCF. AND I am NOT going to change.
I praise Jesus for leaders that stand for truth. The Bible speaks over and over of "standing fast" "move not" ect ect.
The issue on this forum is that those that are moving and not standing fast for truth are irritated when they read folks that have stayed their ground.

I don't care if it's politics, church or life in general - liberalism is all about controlling others. Liberalism is a mental disorder.

Bro. Epley as free holiness trinitarian pentecostal on standards church attendance and probably a few other things we would be in agreement. However there are other issues we would disagree on. Even though there are things we disagree with I in know way resent any of your post (it is possible to disagree without being rude or resentful while reamianing respectful and true to one's convictions). I along with others find it refreshing to see someone stand unapologetically for what they believe in.

Re: Open Letter to All

I am not the same as I was yesterday, and I will not be the same tomorrow. For my prayer and my vision is to know God and to know Him as he really is, and as He changes me and I see Him more clearly, I pray that I have the courage to change and to embrace Him in His fullness!!!

"For we don't know what we shall be, but we KNOW that when we see Him we will be like Him."

Seems that none of us KNOW it all yet, but take courage we all shall!!

Surely everyone know what I was implying I certainly haven't reached perfection not even close. And so much about HIM I do not know and am learning everyday hopefully. But I am speaking of the fundamental doctrine and lifestyle not going to change. I hope I am being changed into His image until I see Him as He is.
