where one educates their child has very little to do with anything.
I agree somewhat with this, though I do believe it is much harder when kids are put in public schools. I went to a church school. We had chapel every Wednesday afternoon and Bible class every Tuesday and Thursday. I was a sinful, rotten jerk who nearly backslid after graduating. I have several friends who attended church but went to public school and they never rebelled as I did. They're in church and serving God today. But they've told me it was hard with the peer pressure and humanistic stuff they were being taught.
I agree 100% with your statement, "How one raises their child is what matters." If we as parents do not pray, read the bible, fellowship together with believers and live the word at home, it won't matter what school they attend.

They are afraid to tackle this because they have so many public school addicts in their churches. If they address it strongly, they’ll lose their jobs.”"
Our youngest 2 sons were home-schooled thru 8th grade. Then they attended a public High school - BIG mistake. We didn't repeat that mistake with our 3rd son & daughter.
Our 3rd son was home schooled thru high school. Scored a 30 on his ACT, tested out of nearly a semester of college and is pulling straight A's in his 1st year of college. He remarked that college is easier than being home schooled (LOL). My daughter will also complete high school thru on-line, home school programs. All of her classes are on-line - my wife just has to monitor her progress.
That being said we realize that not all families are able to homeschool for a variety of reasons. But it it's an option for a family we highly recommend it.

We had our kids at A.C.E. and my wife currently works at Canada's ACE hq. My grandkids go there now, and I am, so glad they're not in public school.

Hope your 2 sons recovered. Public schools can be a real shock to kids that have always been sheltered. Keeping your younger children home was a wise move.
We used ACE but felt like our kids weren't being challenged at all. Now on ABeka and they are very challenged! Wild how much they expect a 5th grader to know now! Lol
