God is a God of miracles and I've seen a few. Fewer than I would like! There are charlatans and I've seen more than I would like. Perhaps we put too much emphasis on miracles in the light of eternity. Everything, at the present, is temporary. Even the miracles of Jesus were temporary, for the 5000 were hungry again the next day and yes, even Lazarus eventually died again. A million milleniums from now we will look back on these times and it will all seem so insignificant.

He probably means Criss Angel. The one who made the million dollar challenge in the video.

Some of his illusions are nothing more than cheap camera tricks, often with the participants and audience "in on it". Or so I've heard.

Most of the time the "blond bombshell" he picks out of the crowd to help him with his street tricks knows EXACTLY how it is done and is in a position to see everything.
To me, it is not about knowing how it is done, but being entertained with the showmanship and the "effect" that is desired. I KNOW how much is done, but still enjoy seeing these tricks done skillfully.
Getting back to the original video and the case I've been trying to make. In the video, Chris saw someone do a trick while claiming it was real. He KNEW how it was done and offered the guy a million dollars to simply do it again, but this time with an envelope that HE had in his hand. Of course the charlatan could not do it.

Yes, most of CA's tricks are entertaining, for sure. He does have talent as an illusionist, and good showmanship, and that's not a bad thing. But I think it's a mistake for him also sometimes to use blatantly obvious camera tricks that anyone could do. No skill needed, there.
