I did the jailbreak early on, so I get free tethering and access to non-apple app stores. Without some of those features, I probably wouldn't like my iPhone near as much. Randy - check out logmein.com and see if they have Android support yet. Their iPhone app for remote controlling pcs is stellar. There are also several VNC clients I think.
That was one of the first sites I went too. I use logmein already for my desktop PC's -using a PC, but there is no Android app yet although I expect one soon..... Hopefully.

Re: Motorola Droid

Does the AFT mobile skin work on your droid? Mine doesn't.

Re: Motorola Droid

I was interested in the Droid, but I don't want to switch carriers and evidently AT&T's version is altered and locked down for their Motorola Backflip... for example they changed the search engine to Yahoo instead of Google, which doesn't make a lot of sense on a Google flavored phone.

Re: Motorola Droid

Google announced today that Android version 2.2 is "weeks away". This looks like a major release with an expected increase of between 2 and 5 times along with compatibility with Adobe Flash 10.1.

Re: Motorola Droid

Be careful about losing your Droid phone because they wont replace it with the same model they will relpace it with a lesser value phone.
