Really great pastor. He actually used to be the youth pastor at ALC under Dan Rigdon back in the late 80s. He was voted in after the Hennigan's departure. I can give more background when I'm not typing on my phone.

My hopes have been shattered, but I certainly respect your wish!

You say you know me. Do you really? I wouldn't be surprised if you do just based on certain obvious elements here on the Forum...

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

"Where do you live and go to church?"

Is that a trick question?

Well, I have a feeling I've already told you in person... For all I know, you might live here too...you might be my next door neighbor...

But, since you asked, it hasn't ever been the same since moving here...

It's been very nice. The fact that the city limit signs are no more than 10 mins each direction, yet everything under the sun is found here, it's great!

I also like the fact that there's only 1 high school. No rivalry, no divisions, just plain ole good "community" atmosphere...

I'll find out who you are one way or the other...
