Ok, examining the verse "Jesus wept" might show a parallel (a post from the Good News Cafe):
This made me think of a sermon I heard one time. The "sin that made God cry"
When Lazarus was sick, Mary and Martha sent for Jesus. But he didn't come. They were expecting him to drop everything and come but instead he tarried. When he finally made his way to their house Lazarus was dead. Martha came out and said, "If you had been here our brother wouldn't have died." And then the shortest scripture in the Bible. "Jesus wept."
Question? Why did Jesus cry? He knew that he had only to speak the word and Lazarus would arise from the grave. I believe it was because of the unbelief. He was friends to Mary and Martha. But because he didn't come when they called Mary and Martha was very quick to doubt Jesus's love for them.
If we have complete confidence in God then we have peace. But when we begin to doubt God's love and power then there is no peace.
Ha, it would naturally follow from "probably not."
The laugh smilie in question was my response to your post, and it only meant I thought your post was hilarious. Not that I agreed with it, which I don't. So maybe you did misunderstand that laugh.
Does that help?

Hebrews 13:23 Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty
Well, the riddle of how Lazarus' rich man's day of death is better than his day of birth pretty much got solved a while back, I think...and I prolly just misunderstood Timmy.
God views death differently than us, I think is the message, and until you adjust your premise here to match reality, you are going to mis-interpret a lot of the Bible.
