Great post!

Actually, that's the opposite of misleading. LOL!!!! If you don't know something is a fact, you HAVE to insert a qualifier, or else you are being misleading. I've heard my Dad and other ministers discuss prophecy and conjecture and hypothesize, but he never made statements of fact...because he wasn't sure!

Sorry to put words in your mouth.

Fair in this case is relative. Not trying to stir something up just stating what he said.
I won't even read his stuff anymore, let alone go to any prophesy sessions he has...there are better endtime teachers out there.

IB hsa long held the idea that a war is coming that will end in the deaths of around 2 billion people. he has pointed to several differnt hot spots that could possibly be the spark.

One is the issue of Tiwan, another is the issues that exist between Pakistan and India (2 nations that hate each other and have nuclear bombs).

Another would be the current world situation involving Islamic terror and America's roll.

He has never prophisied anything, he has pointed out his understanding of endtime events based on how he reads the bible.

Some of his ideas are solid, others seem less so. The idea that 12 months is being brought up is not new either. Eventually something big and very bad will happen. History tells us that.

That's what I've heard.

In fact, someone told me that he was the nicest false prophet they'd ever met!

This is a sad thing to me.
Nothing Sad about it...he knows the hour is late and he wants to make sense and reach the masses.....

I for one am proud of his not popular stance.

If the 75 in your office has not heard about Jesus Name Pentecost,
You are the one falling down on the job, not the UPC.
That is your world - go win it!

What a sad thing to go to some apostolic's funeral - all his co-workers attend, and none have any clue as to what he experienced in God. No clue as to the very name of his assembly. They all ask: "He went to church???"

No television program is going to affect those 75 souls like you can.
Light your world and quit expecting the UPC to do it for you.

This seems the prevalent problem of pentecost today: "Somebody needs to win the world, but not me".
