I was afraid that after Adam Lambert, no one would ever make me jump out of my chair again. Casey Abrams makes me jump even higher. I've never heard anything like that...and he's only 19. Wow. Incredible.

WOW - - Stefano Lagone tore up "I Need You Now" last night! Even Randy said, "you brought the anointing".......it was GREAT! Glad he made it through.

I was a bit disappointed the Clint Gamboa wasn't chosen for Wild Card. I really liked his voice and creativity.
Overall, happy with who was chosen. Talent was amazing this year, so there were tough decisions.

Clint is one of the best voices in the history of AI (the TV show, not the forum ). His rendition of "Superstition" was the best I've ever heard. For him not to be voted through after singing like that?? Well, he dug a deep hole when he kicked that kid out of his group. He's also totally phony with his emotions. It's amazing that the viewing public sees through that and pushes the button for someone else.
I was MORE shocked when they didn't ask him to sing for a spot. But I think it's possible they figured if he couldn't get through with the singing he did, he would never make it so what's the use.

Yes, you're probably very right with that summation of Clint.
Personally, I thought his choice in glasses was a bit off-putting.

He rocks!
And is a better musician/singer talent than AL.

Likability is what is going to get you promoted at this level. But the judges could have saved him... they didn't. Another shock. But overall, the guy choices were good.
The SHOCKER was that Kendra wasn't chosen, and the Latina Sensation that made Top 10 over Kendra was quite surprising.

I give bets now that Thea doesn't make it all the way, but will eventually accept a contract with Nickelodeon, Mickey Mouse Club, Disney, etc...

Read this summation of the show last night and thought it was good. I didn't disagree with anything in the article.

I think James Durbin is quickly becoming my fav.
Poor Jacob Lusk really disappointed, was he just trying too hard?
