Latter days/"last" days is a term used to refer to distant future times (as in prophecy). When the NT writers affirm they were in the latter days they were affirming the latter days of OT prophecy were occurring. The term had come to be synonymous with the "times of Messiah". Since Messiah has come, we are in "the latter days".

Sean believes Jesus is Lord now.
He will be recognized as Lord to every living human being on planet Earth during the Millennial Reign.
This is what Zech 14 teaches.
Plagues will even come to those few, that try to forget Jesus is Lord in those days.

Fact is, fake news DB, DOES NOT WANT Jesus to reign over all living humans and be understood as their Lord to them(per Zech 14).
He just wants them all dead, and Jesus ignored by most folks on the planet as He is ignored today. (DB likes it that way).
