One of the things that we forget in discussing God pouring out his Spirit upon all flesh is, When Peter said that he was quoting Joel, he was not saying that later on there is coming a last days in which God would pour out His Spirit. He said this IS that that was spoken...etc. That being said he was saying that he (peter) was in the last days and that they were receiving on Day of Pentecost the fulfilment of the prophesy. Once we can see that plus the fact that since 1900 over 900 million have proclaimed to have received the Holy Ghost (and thats a 7 yr old figure) I'd say God still doing it. Let me add this while we discuss it...If our local churches experienced a sudden thrust of souls due to Holy Ghost out pouring...what do we have in place to keep those souls that God could count us faithful with the harvest?

Its because most churches don't disciple what they have. Plus the the majority of folks who recieve the Holy Spirit get Him outside our fellowship... which is a whole different thread with lots of points of view
