Now there have been a couple post stating this same thing. Is this a split among Charismatics ? The leadership called this meeting and invited Haney because the charismatic leadership is concerned with their lack of HGB within their churches. Haney told them it was because the Charismatics have made it non essential. So the million dollar question here is , -- what is the Charismatic leadership going to do from this point ?

One ... there is no evidence that HGB was the central focus of this forum ... This seems to be what KH got out of the meeting.
Two ... where did Haney tell them it was essential ... from the letter ... it seems there were small groups and Bishop Haney shared some stats with a handful ... in one instance a coffee break. We can only speculate if the discussion went towards essentiality ..Other than we preach it as part of the plan

WHY would they call on the UPC whom they have called Heritical for the pasto 100 years if we were wrong????


What's better, to teach that the Holy ghost is essential or not teach it and end up with only 20% of your people receiving it? such is the way the AoG has turned out.

But honestly Dan, you know Haney well enough. Do you think he would have "sugar coated" it in the meeting? I mean I don't think he would have went in with fire and brimstone, but I don't think he would have avoided telling them the truth as he sees it.

Again .. if this is what was said ... in his words ... THEN IT WAS SUGAR-COATED.

Yes, he would ... most would agree w/ that assessment.

Second, there is no evidence to the contrary to what I've stated ... if something is essential for salvation and if that is what he wanted to express to them then it would mean saying they were condemned to hell and not speaking in tongues means fire and brimstone.

even more interesting is him seeming to reluctantly go to a meeting that conveniently fit in his schedule because he heads the biggest Oneness movement in America .... (questionable)

I wonder why he felt that he had to "explain" why he was there ... was it because last time he did something like that he was blasted by his own for doing so???

Actually, I had just canceled those three days about a month and a half before, and so when they called they said, "The meeting is urgent, we're sorry we could only let you know a week and a half in advance, but we feel it's of great importance and we want you, please Reverend Haney, to come." I asked my secretary, "Am I free?" she said, "you're free." I said, "Tell them I'll be there."

That meeting was a meeting of most all of the leaders of Pentecostal, quote/unquote, organizations and denominations in America. And most so-called "Charismatic" leaders. Talk about "The Great Speckled Bird", that was me! The discussion was on the subject of "What has happened to the Pentecostal/Charismatic Movement? It has lost something." Now, because of my position as the leader of the largest Oneness Pentecostal organization in the world, that's why I was there.

Sounds like the begged him to come over the HOLY GHOST BAPTISM CRISIS that only he could solve.

I wonder if the other attendees saw the meeting through these rose colored glasses?

It's really too bad. Oneness Apostolics are the most fractured group that I know of.
