Randy, you would love her, she has taken her shoe off to me more than once.My Dad was a backslider and thought he would make my Grandparents mad so he married a Catholic Hungarian girl ( My Mom in 1972). (Well you don't mess we the old timers like my Grandma and my aunt.) In the wedding photo my mom had earrings to her shoulder , makeup and off the shoulder dress... Well
Mom recieved the Holy Ghost and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ 2 weeks later! That was the last time she cut her hair.... I hear dad was MADDDDD!

Re: Bars..

....which is, by the way, where we got married. At the MGM Grand -not Emerils.

I am sure I would get along with your grandmother just fine, but if she was upset at your mother for the presence of jewelry and a dress below the shoulders in her wedding photos, she would have a cow about the slot machines in the background of half our wedding pics. LOL

Re: Bars..

I agree that I've heard a lot of preaching against worldly things where the point seems to get people to Amen and shout.

What I find amusing, though, is how outdated most of the terms are. Picture shows, juke joints, "rock" music, um, the "sinners" probably don't have a clue what you're preaching against.

She cuts her hair and she's a doctor. So she's way off the charts.
