Ah! That's a good point. One of our pastors (come to think of it, most of our pastors!) loved to follow the fads. Like banners, posted around the sanctuary, where we had to make the rounds and pray over them. There was a "revival" banner, "lost loved ones", etc. Did those pastors envy the "wonderful" things that were happening at other churches? Did they want to be the next "Brownsville" or "Toronto"?

I was thinking more of everyday fads , ie...someone gets something and then everyone has to run out and get it...........is that a sin ?
