Each and every time, it was God that called, summoned, initiated, chose and appealed to. He does the choosing, and that makes our "choice" a very small detail in the scheme of things. Once we are approached by the Hound of Heaven, there is not much else we can do (though I do believe one can reject His goodness -- I find that it's difficult).
No one can even come to Him, unless the Spirit draws them.

No debate with any of what you have said, except with maybe one portion of your opinion.
I do believe that God gives opportunities. I believe God draws.
We both believe that God created people with the power to reject.
It's not all that difficult to reject God-- often it is simply much more easier to reject than to embrace God.
If Grace was completely irrisistable, then it would not be grace at all.
God created us in His image.
He has the power to choose.
So do we because He gave that to us when He created us.

Re: Hate Of Reformed Theology
I love the gospel of Christ - It's so incredible so utterly amazing what Christ did for sinners it blows me away. The fact He hung on that cross while at any time He could have come down and given up on us is beyond words to describe!

OK, here's another bone for the discussion bowl...
How is it that you came to have faith in Christ, though the scripture says that our righteounsness is as filthy rags, and the heart of man is deceitful and desperately wicked?

How so? (And I don't believe in IG -- at least fundamentally the way Calvinism teaches).
I find it terribly difficult to reject God. The fact that we are being approached by the Hound of Heaven, His Spirit calling and working, I find it VERY difficult to reject. Regardless, to the degree which we find it, and however we measure that, I'd think the collision one has with Grace result in one being "wrecked" as we like to say today...
God does more than "give opportunities." That's a minimalist view of what the salvation call is from God.

Why would a all powerful, and God that is LOVE, create billions of humans that are deserving of Hell, "from the womb", and I speak of hell in the traditional sense of a place of torment?
I believe our understanding of God and His intentions is very distorted.
That He would allow all humanity to experience evil, and condemnation, is understandable only in the context of His eventual redemption of all His creation.
Theology is human attempts to define the Almighty, unfortunately, these attempts are very skewed, by the limitations and carnality of man.

Strange? Why would "LOVE" give up, especially on His own highest order of creation?

Yes, God is irresistible, how else would "...every knee bow, and every tonque confess..."?
To see Him is to melt into His presence, He is the fire that refines all evil, and leaves only the pure base metal that came from Him, therefore being pure and holy. "All shall see Him..."

Amen! Thankfully, He didn't. He has pursued us since the fall-out in the Garden.
He will "show mercy upon whom he will show mercy." He ways are just. Our ways are distorted self-centered, humanistic reasoning.
