Matthew 7:11
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
If we being evil know how to give good things to our children... how much more would God?
1 John 2:2
He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
Jesus will draw all men unto Himself...
"And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me." John 12:32
All will bow, acknowledge Christ, and give the Father glory:
"That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2: 10-11
The Father sent Jesus to be the Saviour of the whole world... will He fail?
"And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world." First John 4:14
Because of Adam, sin entered the world and it's curse fell upon all men universally. Likewise Christ came into the world and died for all men, will not this also be universal?
"For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." 1 Corinthians 15: 22
Every nation that God has made shall come before Him one day in praise and worship:
"All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name." Psalms 86: 9
Even God's enemies...
"Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah." Psalms 66: 3-4
Luke 12:42-48 (ESV)
42 And the Lord said, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom his master will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the proper time? 43 Blessed is that servant[i] whom his master will find so doing when he comes. 44 Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions. 45 But if that servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed in coming,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and get drunk, 46 the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces and put him with the unfaithful. 47 And that servant who knew his master's will but did not get ready or act according to his will, will receive a severe beating. 48 But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.
Notice... many are punished longer, receiving more punishment, than others. Yet for stripes to be comparable, there must be an end.
There is a sense in which we become blinded by religion
when we are "saved," which you have overcome,
and, as I may have mentioned before,
this puts you head and shoulders above many.
While I might not be interested in hearing your sermon,
at least until the anger thing is confronted,
Christ's opinions weren't very popular, either,
even to many close adherents.
You are being exactly what you are supposed to be right now, imo.
