Today I dialogued with interesting people. Some were very ignorant, and to others I was ignorant. At times I question the validity of people, but at other times I'm shown.

The scripture I'm about to post explains the mindset of many people, but I thank God for revelation that comes from the almighty. I thank God because I don't fit in and never want to be part of the crowd. I was once told, follow the cloud and not the crowd. It has proven to be very beneficial.

Nothing.

Absolutely nothing wrong. What's wrong with approaching strangers at the grocery stores or on the streets, or even our neighbors while we wait for that one person we asked God to send us?

As I stated earlier, Luke 15:8 "Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn't she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?

The emphasis was on the women finding the coin, not the coin finding her. The emphasis really isn't praying for god to send us one soul, rather, sending us to find and/or reach souls.

I believe you will discover every soul is hungry when you begin speaking to them. The other day I was at an office and saw this lady. I began speaking to her and she began weeping. She asked how I knew things about her without knowing her.

Every soul is hungry within. I was driving on the freeway one day and saw a billboard. It said, "your heart doesn't beat just for you." God reconfirmed things in my life with that billboard. Our heart doesn't beat just for us, but also for the stranger beside us, and those we have yet to meet. We carry the message of eternal life and are commanded to share it.

Mark 16; 15-16
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Unfortunately, that scripture doesn't apply to me. I seek the accolades of nobody.

The teachings of Jesus on how we are to pray etc do not apply to you?

Seriously?

Yep.... same thing as:

Luke 18:11 KJV The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

Whereas he publican prayed with out slurring anyone else.

Luke 18:13 KJV And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

The lesson?

Luke 18:14 KJV I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

When you slur others in your prayers, you exalt yourself unlike the publican who didn't so much as MENTION anyone else.

God then told me to ask them, what's wrong with sharing the gospel with people you pass by everyday...

The place became quiet like a Catholic monastery....

I was in service with them again...

The church hasn't grown...

They said they wanted revival....

Once again they said, "pray so god can lead you to a hungry soul."

I though to myself, did you give heed to what was spoken to you?

It frustrated me that they still had that mindset (Israel).

MfBlume,

Sure, there's nothing wrong asking God to lead you to someone, but isn't the majority of the world lost and hurting?

Should I be asking God to send me to someone when there are plenty people at the grocery store, gas stations, restaurants, etc.?

Lets be sincere. There are many people we can share the gospel with everyday, yet, many neglect because they're waiting for that one person, and in the process they're bypassing crowds of hurting people.

Mfbblue,

Mark 16:15 Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

Does the scripture above instruct us to pray that God sends someone our way to share the gospel, or does it instruct us to go to the people and share the gospel?

I remember I was in a large prayer meeting, ministers, congregants, etc. They began speaking about praying for God to send people their way that they may share the gospel with them. They wanted revival.

Sometimes when God speaks to me, he empties my mind, give me words, or scriptures and a message. As I was standing there, God gave me a scripture and message. I said oh oh, what's going to happen? I braced myself.

All of a sudden, the pastor turned to me as asked that I speak. Here's what God gave me.

Luke 15:8; Or what woman who has ten silver coins and loses one of them does not light a lamp, sweep her house, and search carefully until she finds it?

The coins didn't search for the women, rather, the women searched for the coin, and so we should search for the lost. You want revival. However, revival will not occur just by prayer, but by the efforts you contribute.

It became very quiet in that building and people then confessed that was something they needed to hear.

Again, stop praying that God send you someone, rather, go to them!
Amen. But why make slurs against them in your process of disagreement? It's wrong and not necessary. THAT is my point.

It seems they offended you IN SOMETHING ELSE, and you are using this instance to bash them, when you should not even mention them in your desires and beliefs.
