Hi Darcie - Dan is a troublemaker, but that's probably what makes him the hero you know him to be (LOL).

He's also lucky to have a sister like you.

I appreciate that, thanks. But I'll still complain about being called a "lib!"

If you ever did pay to meet me and saw the people I came up under you'd wonder about the label. But then again, there is a larger number of folks I can say are "kin" because I'm so "liberal." I like it that way, it seems to have been the way Jesus tried to go about things - get as many as you can into the family.

I know, call me a "Classical Liberal." That's what they call Adam Smith, the father of capitalism and modern "conservatism." LOL.

I like Dan.

Some times he's a little much,
but i like him.

And I usually agree with him.

about walking

I had quadruple bypass surgery in September 1995.
Since then I have been walking quite a bit.
I try to walk 5 miles two or three days a week.

When I first got up to the 5 mile regimen in early 1996 it took me about 14 and a half minutes per mile. Now, 9 years older and 40 pounds heavier, it takes me a little over 18 minutes per mile.

I like to walk alone and without any distractions like an iPod or walkman. For all these years my time walking has been a great time of prayer and worship and communing with the Lord. It's like being in a prayer closet because I'm shut in with the Lord. I've received some prophetic words for myself and for others and I've received sermons and Bible studies too while spending this time with the Lord.
