It's only 9:30 am and I am at work, so will have to have one later. lol.

I do find the lack of religion here (at least where I am at) refreshing... it is like this huge weight is lifted. Surprisingly, people still function and don't kill each other and are pretty laid back!

Lack of religion? Well, I guess it's to be expected, with the AG giving up, and all.

If I understand it correctly, Australia is one of the few countries that was not founded through some sort of religious discontent (disclaimer - I am by no means a historical scholar or any sort of expert on Australia). There seem to be very few churches here. I've only seen one or two church buildings in Manly which is where I am staying in NSW.

Unreal!
From what I hear many of the beers in Australia you would have to drink a 55 gallon drum of the stuff before you get a buzz.

I know that their drunk driving laws are more stringent than ours. Their limit is .05 and I believe in Texas it is .08

It seems you are able to walk around in public with alcohol though, unlike the US... and let's just say that their beaches are a little more "liberal" than the beaches in the US (to my pleasant surprise - leaving that cryptic on purpose...)

I can't speak to whether the beer on average is stronger or weaker, I will try to find out.
