Re: Ever Hear of the "Harbinger" thought about 9-1
bbyrd009, I sincerely respect your ability and willingness to look at issues without pre-determined conclusions or offence. In my post, I was not claiming that 911 fullfilled prophecy, but that it is in fact how other nations see it. My own 'interpretation' of prophecy remains 'fluid'. I do not believ I can learn to understand prophecy or world events on God's scale...if I am 'static' in what I believe. I try to remain open for God to 'reveal' what He will, rather than accept the opinions and influence of man and media hype. I see these things very comparable to 'science/scientists' ; of which are only willing to look under 'selected/pre-determined' rocks for answers, thus determining a pre-concluded result.
These things of prophecy and current world events are not yet concluded, and neither is my assessment. I do believe we are in the days of the 'final act' of this drama of life in God's creation; this 'Greatest Show on Earth'. I have no way of knowing how many days remain, yet God certainly has my full attention. As in the days of Noe...men say, "It is for another time".....but I for one will do my very best to have oil for my lamp and be ready. (sorry for the rant)

Re: Ever Hear of the "Harbinger" thought about 9-1
Ha, no, Amen to all that. I'm not at all able to comment on 911's connections to prophecy; I'm strictly a reader there. And, I don't have a problem with eschatology even, per se; we are going to a better place, and all of our definitions of "going" are different. I illuminate our eschatology as surely too literal to encourage what I am sure are more practical, if possibly harder to believe, interpretations, not less. Today is the last day of your life.

Re: Ever Hear of the "Harbinger" thought about 9-1
Okay, I am bumping this thread, because I just have started reading the book "The Harbinger".
I haven't finished reading the book yet, and I find it dry, and rather boring to read, because of the format - a conversation between some guy and an editor whom he is trying to convince of a great mystery he is uncovering.
However, the message about God warning the USA and the correlation of the Isaiah 9:10 scripture used on two separate occasions by government officials after 9-11, and the facts that seem to surround the prophetic nature of that verse.... seems worth pondering.
Just wondering if anyone else has done any more research on the subject, or offer any more ideas/thoughts about this?

Yes, by Jonathan Cahn. Was recommended to me by someone. It is very dry reading, but some interesting points have been made, which you can see summarized at the beginning of this post by M. Blume.
