My Mom used to say a man works from sun up to sun down, but a woman's work is never done.
( meaning always more to do). Needed to explain that for Ron because I know how he thinks and how he would respond to that statement.

Re: Washing Machines
They didn't say anything about auto balance hope that is included.
Don't want to have a bucking bronco getting out of its stall.

It sounds like there is a lot of male chauvinism going on & if there is one thing I can't stand worse than a male chauvenist & that is a woman that won't do what she's told!

I believe the auto balance is pretty much standard. If it wasn't the machine would be shaking all over the house almost every time it was used.

Re: Washing Machines
I decided to share the full story of my front load LG washer / dryer buy from 3 or 4 years ago. I already posted I think that Best Buy had a 3 day sale where this set was 1/2 price.
To see if it was the typical scam of "half price" calculated off of a retail price that no store actually used I shopped the item and discovered they were in fact half price.
The last day of the sale I went to BB to look at them and made the decision to buy. Each one was $299. As the sales lady went to write it up she came back and said they were sold out and she checked the other area BB's and they were sold out also. The only ones they had left were the display ones.
I typically will not buy anything that is a display since it will have been on for a bazillion hours and have had 10 year old kids pushing every button and slamming every door. However being a washer and dryer it was off in a boring section with almost no foot traffic and the dryer was stacked on top of the washer so no kid could even reach it. Plus they were not hooked up so had never been turned on, etc.
I would have gone ahead and just paid the great sale price for the display ones but thought I would try do to better so asked the sales lady what discount her manager would give me for buying the display ones. I really expected him to say nothing but she came back and said he authorized her to take another $50 off each!
Bottom line is I bought both the LG front load washer and dryer for a total of $500 AND they threw in the bracket thinga-ma-jiggy that lets you stack them since they alreday were using it on the showroom as they had them stacked.
Truly the best bargain I have ever run across on any major appliance.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Mom and Dad were watching TV when Mom said, "I'm tired, and it's getting late. I think I'll go to bed."
She went to the kitchen to make sandwiches for the next day's lunches, rinsed out the popcorn bowls, took meat out of the freezer for supper the following evening, checked the cereal box levels, filled the sugar container, put spoons and bowls on the table and started the coffee pot for brewing the next morning.
She then put some wet clothes into the dryer, put a load of clothes into the wash, ironed a shirt and secured a loose button. She picked up the newspapers strewn on the floor, picked up the game pieces left on the table and put the telephone book back into the drawer.
She watered the plants, emptied a wastebasket and hung up a towel to dry. She yawned and stretched and headed for the bedroom. She stopped by the desk and wrote a note to the teacher, counted out some cash for the field trip, and pulled a textbook out from hiding under the chair.
She signed a birthday card for a friend, addressed and stamped the envelope and wrote a quick note for the grocery store. She put both near her purse. Mom then creamed her face, put on moisturizer, brushed and flossed her teeth and trimmed her nails.
Hubby called, "I thought you were going to bed." "I'm on my way, "she said. She put some water into the dog's dish and put the cat outside, then made sure the doors were locked.
She looked in on each of the kids and turned out a bedside lamp, hung up a shirt, threw some dirty socks in the hamper, and had a brief conversation with the one up still doing homework. In her own room, she set the alarm, laid out clothing for the next day, straightened up the shoe rack.
She added three things to her list of things to do for tomorrow.
About that time, the hubby turned off the TV and announced to no one in particular "I'm going to bed," and he did.
