I feed my chickens and turkeys Layena Plus Omega-3, and they are free range as well. in the middle of the day they get scraps and well eat anything and everything that is thrown to them. The turkeys get Salmon in the middle of the day with cod liver oil, MSM, D3, and Glucosamine

How many chickens do you have?
We have wild turkeys that come to our yard, which I feed, but they are wild. May get one or two this turkey season.

Um yeah, tell me about it! They got into my garden, and squandered my lettuce in no time short!

Well, we had two roosters, but my dog killed one We have 14 hens now and 1 rooster. 8 are from baby chicks that I raised this year, and waiting on them to start laying eggs. Should be any day now.

One was injured and the other had a bad foot, both couldn't walk. I was supposed to kill them because they couldn't move out of their own filth. But I would go and move them around their yard, and water and feed them by hand. Until they started to walk again. They would start to walk on their own and then relapse back to total cripple. Some times it seemed like everyone was right and that I would have to put them down, but I kept working with them, and it looks good they have come around for the better. It is like Jesus working with us, sometimes those around us really want the Lord to put us out of our misery, because all they see is a gimpy bird. But Jesus keeps working with us even when we relapse, and it looks like we are going to stay crippled. He keeps feeding us by hand, watering us by hand, moving us by hand so we don't sit all day in our own filth. Thank God for the love and care of a good shepherd for His flock.

Wow, my daughters would of been pretty upset if a rooster was killed by one of their animals.
