Re: Changing To Preterism from Rapture Doctrine
Sean, explain why Psalm 1 says BELIEVERS are trees with fruit and leaves. Why do you mock what I say about Rev 22 and not apply to Psalm 1? What is the difference between Psalm 1 and Rev 22?
Are you nullifying the physical realities of Rev. 22, with "types" in psalm 1 again?

Read. Rev 1 is doing the same thing Psalm 1 is doing.
See how you cannot answer me?
Sean why isn't Psalm 1 a reality?

My lands, this sounds like What's on first Who's on second.

Okay, lets settle it this way....
You come to preach in CA.
We arm wrestle.
If I beat you, then you must sit through 1 hour of me teaching futurist prophecy, without foaming at the mouth.
If you beat me, then I must sit through 1 hour of you teaching preterism, without falling out of my chair laughing.
Deal?

Because of this Mike.....
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
It does not say "like a" in the Book of Revelation.

It says SIGNS in Revelation. Sean, where are the SIGNS in Revelation? List some of them. And see if the word LIKE is in those verses.
Waiting... (cough, cough, forever, cough).

Absolutely Mike, there are a few signs in the book of Rev., but not the ENTIRE book is a sign, like you preterists think!
