On another note, Gustav is going to sink the Republicans.

This storm is going to hit on Tues. That means the Republicans have to either have their convention during the storm and the dems will charge them with not caring about poor southerners.... AGAIN....

OR they will postpone the convention which will be a new impossibility and will end up with very few people and very little excitement there. thus killing the value of the convention.

Did you change your mind after the Palin pick. I don't think Gustav can sink this one.

We are watching this storm and had already planned on leaving for the weekend.

I think what the news people are doing is so wrong...

Oh she has a newborn 4 month old with downs syndrome how will she be able to juggle both?

SICK!

Mothers can multi task! Its these idiot guy broadcasters who cant so they dont think anyone else can.

I just heard they have already began the manditory evacuations of those on the gulf who are in the cheap cottages/trailers from FEMA that were placed after Katrina.. and some mobile homes etc....

DeRidder is well inland but took a hard hit from Rita. there are at least a thousand FEMA trailers parked up in DeRidder at the airport. those things will be TOAST if DeRidder takes a hit!

Oh this cant be a good thing...

Watching CNN they say that all residents of NO were told to call 311 for evacuation information. They are trying to call it but only a small percentage are being able to get thru and supposedly this is how they are supposed to get all of their evac. info????? HMMMMM Lord please dont let us have a repeat!

Some people in Ms. are evacuating I understand. The weather is pretty here though at the moment.
They about ran me crazy at work, today.
