Re: *SHOCK* Rick Warren 2 give Invocation@Inaugera
This just kind of gives the real picture.....
As for me and my house we will serve the Lord..... Joshua 24:15
A worried woman went to her gynecologist and said:
'Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help! My baby is not even 1 yr. old and I'm pregnant again. I don't want kids so close together.'
So the doctor said: 'Ok, and what do you want me to do?'
She said: 'I want you to end my pregnancy, and I'm counting on your help with this.'
The doctor thought for a little, and after some silence he said to the lady: 'I think I have a better solution for your problem. It's less dangerous for you too.'
She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to accept her request.
Then he continued: 'You see, in order for you not to have to take care of 2 babies at the same time, let's kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one is born. If we're going to kill one of them, it doesn't matter which one it is. There would be no risk for your body if you chose the one in your arms.
The lady was horrified and said: 'No doctor! How terrible! It's a crime to kill a child!
'I agree', the doctor replied. 'But you seemed to be ok with it, so I thought maybe that was the best solution. The doctor smiled, realizing that he had made his point.
He convinced the mom that there is no difference in killing a child that's already been born and one that's still in the womb. The crime is the same!

I think the church's problem perhaps is they don't want to come out looking as though they approve of fornication or promiscuous teens. What is happening that we have or supposedly have so many out of wedlock pregnancies?

Under grace? Give some examples of your black and white theory.
Everyone wants in on the bailout program. I posted this earlier but here it is again.
A pro-life group in Washington has launched a campaign to oppose what it calls president-elect Barack Obama's planned $1.5 billion "bailout" of the abortion industry.
Last week, the Obama-Biden Transition Project posted a report on its website that calls for dramatic policy reversals on abortion, including $1 billion in taxpayer money for international abortion groups like Planned Parenthood. The report, titled "Advancing Reproductive Rights and Health in a New Administration," also calls for a 133-percent increase in funding for the Title X program, which funds Planned Parenthood clinics across the country.
Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan B. Anthony List, is hoping a Republican-led effort in the Senate will block Obama's plan to substantially increase taxpayer funding of the abortion industry.
"This billion-dollar bailout of the abortion industry comes at a time, number one, when the economy is suffering dramatically with true need. And number two, it communicates an incredible depth of arrogance, especially when you consider that the vast majority of Americans -- men and women, no matter who you talk to -- they don't believe that people who don't believe in abortion should be funding it," she contends. "Most Americans don't believe that we should be funding abortions, especially in a time of economic crisis."
The Susan B. Anthony List has started a "Stop the Abortion Bailout" campaign designed to recruit thousands of activists to send letters to their senators "with the goal of securing the 41 votes necessary to sustain a Senate filibuster of the abortion bailout."

I agree, I can't imagine Jesus approving of abortion. Obama is NOT a Christian. I'm not a judge, I'm a fruit inspector.

There are plenty of Christians who disapprove of abortion in most circumstances, but not all.
So now we are "judged" by your weak and out of touch with reality conscience.
Well while the likes of your ilk posture, I'll stand by my affirmation, realizing that that you or I think about this evil does little to change anyone or anything.
Judge, fruit inspector-- the statement you're making still amounts to spiritual condemnation for a man whose walk with GOD you know very little or nothing about.

We only know by fruit. I think Sounworthy is saying he's making judgements on fruit only. You keep confusing what we can change and what we believe. It's more important what we believe. That's what this thing is all about.

I am talking everyday life. Life can put you in circumstances where there is not a good choice, not a good option. Sometimes, we put ourselves in that situation.
As for "a time to kill", well....
"All scripture is profitable...."
II Timothy 3:16
"Do not be overly righteous...."
Ec 7:16
I mean, if it was "thou shalt not kill" and that alone, then why would God choose a military man to be the first Gentile to pour out his Spirit on?
I am not a murderer, but I have trained and have no problem with killing, under the right circumstances.
It's easier to make sweeping general statements and posture ourselves upon the cushions of lofty rhetoric.
It takes a real Christian to meet people where they are and a real God to understand that life is not always right or fair.
Sometimes, you have to make bad decisions.

You've got a real problem if you have no problem killing. You speak as though you'd enjoy the task and defend anyoine who would slaughter a baby. Do you feel as Obama; a baby would be punishment for a good time had? I'm praying for Obama that he will be miserable until he repents of his wicked ways and turns his life over to Christ.
