Ok, what a trip, because you sent me on a like a year-long journey into this, and it is surely demonstrable that God directly takes the lives of many that might be considered 'innocent' by some human definition. Of course we are all aware that 'none are innocent,' but i found that unsatisfactory as a defense...
So, you want a non-Christian organization that hates evil? OK. How about virtually every organized religion there is? How about organizations former to fight certain specific evils, such as child abuse? (I could google up specific examples for you, but I think you know such things exist.)
But still, some Christians claim that only Christians "hate evil"! We have examples right here. Do you believe that? Do all those non-Christian groups consist of Christians? Would only a Christian actually be against child abuse?
But yes, only Christians would be against certain "evils", such as not believing what they say to believe. I'll give ya that.

No, it isn't. People die. Some innocent, some not. It is certainly possible that God had nothing to do with some of those deaths, and perhaps none of them. Because someone wrote otherwise, thousands of years ago, or even more recently (such as earthquakes to punish Haitians), doesn't make it true.

And I'm with ya, there.

No, but they would claim to hate evil, wouldn't they? And claim that you don't? Not that I take their side. I don't. There is a lot of what I'd call evil done in the name of religion, or ideologies.

Hmm. My meaning was that if one accepts the historical accuracy of Scripture, as most historians seem to do...searching...ya, then a case can be made for God killing 'innocents.' Not that i believe this.
Ya, i had to come to an understanding of that phrase, which led me to 'God knew you before the heavens were made,' and some others...for what it's worth, i ended up at 'God can make people, and i can't.'
