I don't know about the touring, but you're wrong on the cds . . .
SP confessed her two affairs in 1995. It was published in Christianity Today. Both affairs were with married men.
Like Michael, she had just won a Dove in 1994 for "Find It On the Wings." However, she wasn't dumped or tossed from the industry as he was...
Here's a discography:
1994 - Won a Dove Award for "Find It On the Wings."
1996 - Two Christmas Albums, "O Holy Night" and a Hallmark album with Peabo Bryson. Also had another album released, "An American Songbook."
1997 - Won a Dove award for album release "Artist of My Soul."
1998 - Another Dove award for "Libertad me das" (Spanish Language Album)
1999 - Sandi Patty released an album with Kathy Troccoli, "Together"
2000 - "These Days"
2001 - "All The Best...Live!"
2003 - "Take Hold of Christ"
And every year up to now.
She missed releasing an album in one year . . . 1995, the year she admitted to her sins. That was it. She's released, with exception of 1980, 1987, 1995 and 2002, at least one album every year since she started recording in 1979.
But during that time, she was not taken off the radio; and her albums were still available in stores.
I remember, because I kept all the news clips and web articles about Michael's fall and was upset when I found out that SP did more than he did and was still on air and in stores.
I even confronted the manager of my local Christian retailer and asked him how her music was still on the shelf when Michael's was removed.
He didn't have an answer. Stated he was disheartened by the reaction to Michael's confession, and he didn't know about SP's confession, so he couldn't say why there was a blatant double-standard between them.

That hasn't anything to do with her confession. It's just the genre has changed.
Here's one I'm still having issues with . . . she was inducted into the GMA Hall of Fame, February 11th, 2004.
