How was your day?!

These words describe it best...

All day long I've been with Jesus
All day long my lips have uttered praise
All day long my heart, my soul's been lifted in worship
All day long I have been with Him!!

Re: How was your day?!

Our day was awesome today! We baptized another young lady in our second service today! The first service crowd is getting larger and the second service us usually quite full. Still hard to find a parking place in the second service. I LOVE those kinds of problems!!!

Re: How was your day?!

Today was good. Went to church this morning and heard a message entitled "The Ministry of Comfort". As Bro. Ellis spoke, I was struck by just how the Word ministeres to us, all of us. Bro. Ellis related some things that happened this past week (a death, a suicide, and more), I could tell he was really burdened by the things he'd seen. He went on and, every so often he would say something like, "As you take these words with you this week..." It struck me that, as he spoke, his words will not only help us, the hearers, through the week ahead, but that through the pastors own words, is helping him through the difficult situations of past week. Jesus truly is "the Healer of broken hearts".
His Word helps us deal with yesterday, just as It helps us to face tomorrow.

Re: How was your day?!

...Today was a wonderful day! I went to church somewhat discouraged. To give you a little back ground, we've been here for a little over a year and church is very different from what I am used to. I am a worshipper! I love to dance, shout, sing, leap, cry, or just fall to my knees.... Being in a new place and not seeing others respond like that, I have held back, alot.....BUT

the minute my husband began to lead song service, I felt that old feeling again.... I wanted the shackles off of my feet so I could dance in joy and in victory. I didn't care anymore! I danced before the Lord and it was great! I didn't care if I was the only one. I began to praise God the way I have always praised Him! Ya know what? I wasn't alone, because I could hear others being blessed also. After some time, the song service ended and the praise kept on. NO music, no singing.......just praise and worship! It was great.... Then the pastor started to speak and it started all up again!

I sooo love the Lord!

Re: How was your day?!

it was a miserable day. But you didn't want to know that.

So I'll just shut my mouth and tell you it was a good day. It's a lie, but I'll tell you that anyway.

By the way, I don't have very many bad days. So when I do it's unusual.

Re: How was your day?!

I had to say goodbye to my husband today. He'll be gone for 10 days, and we've not been apart this long our entire marriage!!! Not a good day as far as that goes, but I'm so blessed with my toddlers...life is a blast with them around!!

OH you poor soul! I become very, very, very restless when my hubby has to leave......It's been like that for as long as we've been together, (not so much anymore)but I never get used to it!
