But it's official: my little girl is valedictorian of the Newton (Tx) High School class of 2008.

That's awesome! I have a daughter well on her way to earning those kinds of honors. She was recently chosen as student of the month, got to go to a dinner where they gave her an award, and also won a basketball shooting contest!
