Your Favorite Bible.
I'm sure most of us own several bibles of various translations and such ,but yet we all proably have one that we consider our favorite.
Perhaps we have a favorite bible that we have worn out from use,but we won't retire it because we can find things in it easily,or perhaps we have a fave because of it's size or because it has big print or something ?
What is your favorite bible and the story behind it ?

Re: Your Favorite Bible.
Does anybody else have a favorite bible, they use ? I know there are Thompson Chain Reference users here,I own one but I'm not crazy about their reference system.
I have a snap flap Broadman-Holman KJV that is one of my faves.

Re: Your Favorite Bible.
It's always sad when a Bible gets so worn out it is no longer usable. I've always marked them up and written notes in them. Then, when you have to go to a new Bible, all that is lost.
Did you know that marking a Bible is scriptural?
Jeremiah 23:18 says:
For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?

Re: Your Favorite Bible.
Some people continue to use worn out bibles,I have seen some that looked to worn out to me ,but the people that used them said they were comfortable to use like that.

Re: Your Favorite Bible.
I am blessed. I gave away my favorite Bible to a new convert when I was 19 and had just received a basic KJV for my graduation. So, I gave this lady who had just come to Christ my Rainbow Study KJV.
Right now, I don't have a favorite. I still have that Bible from when I graduated, but the bonded leather is starting to crack. I'm looking for a new favorite.

Re: Your Favorite Bible.
I recently obtained The Interlinear Bible, not sure I'd call it my favorite, but it is handy for deeper studies.
