Original request posted on Feb 8~ I just received a call from my Dad. My cousin's husband has been placed in ICU in Huntsville AL. He has staph infection, and infection behind his heart, and some other problems as well that my Dad's sister didn't take time to go into when she called. She did say that the doctor has told her daughter that her husband might not make it. She was just trying to activate every church prayer chain that she knew of. PLEASE pray for him. His name is SCOTT. I know people here know how to reach God in time of need...

2/8~~ 8pm Update: Scott has double pneumonia, Staph infection, the infection has surrounded his heart. Arteries are beginning to clog up. His legs are swollen to twice their normal size. The antibiotics aren't working. He is being cared for by 5 specialists in Huntsville... and they have all given up, and told the family that since the antibiotics aren't working, that it's only a short matter of time before the staph infection will spread to his brain-- and they need to prepare his children.


Family is refusing to prepare the children. Family is praying... and everyone we know is praying. God is BIGGER than this... and can turn this situation around.

Update Feb 9-- UPDATE! One of the doctor's just came out from checking on Scott. He had been previously unable to undergo an EKG for whatever reasons... but they told Scott's wife that they'd be back to do an EKG on him in 30 minutes. He has started to show slight signs of improvement.

UPDATE Sun, Feb 11~~ PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!! Scott has been taken out of Cardiac ICU!!! There is NO damage to his heart from the infection, and the arteries are clear!!! GOD can give hope when the doctors say there's no hope! As of the last report received this morning: They are concentrating on treating the pneumonia-- in hopes that the other antibiotics for the staph infection will begin to work as the pneumonia is cleared up. I know God is moving, and God is able. Scott is still not out of the woods yet, but there is improvement. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!!!!!
