Last night´s adventure

Most know I have a deep burden for trinity folks. I do not consider myself better than them I just feel I have been blessed with more light. Light that is important for salvation.

I went with my son Ednei, his wife and Sister Lorrie to their service in a little town called Uniao dos Palmares.

If you have received our last monthly letter you know I met a gospel singer that her father goes to this little church and that was how the contact began. I had invited her to sing a special song at our ladies meeting and since have been witnessing to her about our doctrine.

This has opened the door of several trinity works and last Sat. we baptized 5 that are connected with this work in yet another area.

As usual week night are not well attended in Brazil because the people work late and youth go to school at night. However we had a good little crowd before it was over and we were asked to come back next Monday to explain more. They seem very sincere and the pastor is coming to talk with Brother Alvear tomorrow morning. The group they belong to (Baptist) have told them if they come with us they will take away their building...furniture, PA system and leave them without anything...

Please help us pray for standing for truth will cost them dearly even the preacher will lose his monthly help from that mission.

However last night he told me he understands our doctrine ....

Here are a few pictures...Our son Michael also made a visit to them while we were in the states.

It was so cute last night the pastor called on me to say something so I told how God had called me to Brazil when I was just a child and talked around 15 minutes or so, then after several others spoke he said we want the missionary to come back and preach some more...so we took a journey through the book of Acts...I must have shared for an hour or so...ha....they seemed so hungry.

The pastor is outside my house as I type talking with one of my sons...Brother Alvear will talk to him in a little while...He has come over to talk more about our doctrine.
