Unbelievable Truffles!
Ok, these have TWO (2) ingredients and they are the most amazing candy ever! We had them at our Ladies' leadership Christmas party, and they were the hit of the party, so I asked for the recipe, thinking they would be really hard. They are made of TWO things!!! If you like dark chocolate, these are wonderful!
SENSATIONAL TRUFFLES
20 squares Baker's Semi-Sweet chocolate, divided (2-1/2 pkg)
8 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
Melt 8 Baker's squares of chocolate. Beat the soft cream cheese with a mixer until creamy. Blend in the melted chocolate. Refrigerate until firm. Shape into 36 balls and place on waxed paper covered baking sheet.
Melt remaining chocolate. Use toothpick to dip truffles. Refrigerate for one hour.
If you want, you can roll them in coconut or chopped nuts as soon as you dip them in the warm chocolate. But they are good just as they are!
I even think they would be good dipped in white chocolate.
