Honoring the Luthers
We honored Pastor Bill & Ann Luther today in our 11 AM service for 40 years of full time ministry. He's now the Executive Director for Love & Truth Ministries, but he has pastored several churches. He was the one who first hired us straight out of JCM (very brave man!). He pastored in Hohenwald, Memphis, Bemis, and Henderson - besides working with us in Adamsville and now Jackson. We had several letters from pastors, and Pastor Keith Roberts was there today to say a few things. Lots of his family and friends came, as well as all of his kids and grandkids. It was a really sweet time!
He was the Sunday School director for the TN District for many years, and they ran all the youth camps. Very good people and well respected!

Re: Honoring the Luthers
He sounds like a great man.
Executive Director, would that be a position appointed by the CEO à la mode de digital?

That was very sweet. I am sure they felt honored and blessed.

I remember being part of an evangelistic team from JCM who went to their church to hold Christian Education seminars as well as the guys preaching. I commend them for years of service.
Blessings, Rhoni

Re: Honoring the Luthers
Love the Luthers. I have SO many wonderful memories of youth camps in TN when they were in charge. Sis. Ann Luther was a wonderful story teller and had such creativity with childen's ministry. Bro. Bill Luther was a dear friend of my father. In early 80's they went to Madagascar together to visit with the Richardsons. It was a trip of a lifetime for my dad. Give them my best. Haven't seen them in quite awhile.
