Chernobyl Pictures

I am sure most on here remembered when this happened I found this site where this person took a trip through Chernobyl nuc power plant and took pictures and wrote about it.. I find things like this of intrest and would love to go tour myself.. On this link go to the bottom of page and click the diffrent chapters and read a little history and pictures of the Chernobyl accident if you enjoy reading about history..

I have a friend who lived just outside of the area of the plant and he was a young teenager at the time.

He was telling about when this all occurred and how they rounded up all the children and took them away. To not instill fear in them they tried to make it like an outing where they had lots of games and so forth.

Anyway, it was quite funny, as he won one of the games and they gave him a book as a prize. However, the book was a story or documentary on the after effects of nuclear radiation. He was terrified after reading it.

Ah Chernobyl. Great example of what bad things can happen when you add a fast-breeder reactor with clueless morons.

Any way that site had cool links to the orange revolution. I am utterly smitten with Yulia Tymoshenko. have been for awhile.
