Spend, Spend, Spend!!!

I'm still waiting on those who were so critical of W's spending to come out against BHO's spending spree. BHO's already on track to exceed W's spending in his first year.

Good article Here, worth the read.

Any BHO koolaide drinkers care to comment on his spending spree.

Colin Powell apparently has come out with concern with BHO's spending, as you may know he supported BO.

I've read a little about CP's recent revelation and concern on finding out BHO's a free-wheeling, tax and spend kind of liberal. I guess CP didn't think about that as he was endorsing BHO. The endorsement itself, specifically the reasons CP gave, was weak.

Quote:
"I think he is a transformational figure, he is a new generation coming onto the world stage, onto the American stage, and for that reason I'll be voting for Sen. Barack Obama,"
Really? Because he's young and so-called "transformational?" That's why CP endorsed him?

Quote:
"Obama displayed a steadiness, an intellectual curiosity, a depth of knowledge," Powell said. "He has met the standard of being a successful president, being an exceptional president," he said.
How so? By missing all the votes or voting not present as a Senator? Is that what makes a President successful or exceptional these days?

Unfortunately, with dumb statements like these, it's no wonder why people question the reall reason for CP's endorsement and assume it to be more about race than actual qualifications

That, and as long as you come up with enough taxes to kind of balance the spending out.

Seriously, is this spending fixing anything? Are we beeter off now? Or is it another "buy the vote" program?

What happened to folks understanding there are consequences to actions?

Is any company really too big to fail?

Stop the spending...NOW!!!!!!!!

The article I posted a link says BHO's spending will lead the US to the financial crisis California is currently facing.

More of the same.

Song song... second verse.

Nothing will ever change until the American people wake themselves up from the mesmerizing effect of the 2 party struggle.

It's heads or tails... same coin.

There are a few policy changes that come with one choice or another... but the snowball ride to economic hell continues.

Re: Spend, Spend, Spend!!!

The Democrats have always been big spenders; unfortunately the Republicans began doing the same during W's terms. Both parties need to stop the spending before they completely mess this country up ... but with BHO in WH, that's not likely to happen. He's like a kid on a free shopping spree at Toys R Us ...

True!

Seems the those who buy into the Progressive philosophy of Global Governance want to see our great nation lose it's power and become weak and ineffective on the World Stage. We are headed for trouble and that is an understatement!

Prepare yourself for very hard economic times.
