Request for Trevor, a young soldier in Iraq
There is a young man from our church who is currently serving in Iraq.
I would appreciate it greatly if some of you would take him on your heart, and add him to your daily prayer lists.
His name is Trevor.
I sign into facebook every day (along with many of his family members and others from our church) and look for a status update from this young man, just so that I know he's still okay.
He updated his status less than an hour ago-- stating that he can't take it anymore, and is ready to come home. His leave to come home is scheduled in January.
Please help us hold him up in prayer.

Re: Request for Trevor, a young soldier in Iraq
Tina, I will be praying for Trevor that the Lord will give him renewed strength. Tell him not to lose sight of the mission, that back home we have not forgotten our soldiers and Marines and we appreciate what they are doing.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
