Brothers & Sisters,
AS some of you know, I hurt my ankle two years ago at work.
I had two surgeries & some complications.
The previous claims manager said I was a-ok & cut off my benefits.
After job hunting & no bites & also realizing I can not stand for more than two hours on my ankle, I appealed the decision.
I got an answer from the appeal officer who stated I have valid reasons to consider & she threw it back at the WCB & said "Reconsider the facts" I have an independent analysis that says I probably need retraining for a desk job.
I want to be trained & get back into the work force.
I blew through twenty grand just surviving & am looking to get some or all of it back as well as retraining.
My new claims manager is looking at the file again today & told me to call him tomorrow!
