That is an old article. As far as those who drop standards and get cozy with the world, The Bible says there will be a great falling away in the last days. I think we are seeing this now more than ever. I don't think UPCI is the only ones who are going to be saved. I do question the salvation of those who have grown up in this and then turn away. I think they have been turned over to reprobat minds. He who endures to the end shall be saved.

Not having standards does not mean "getting cozy" with the world...where do you get that?

I know of Pastors that are hardline on standards yet listen to secular country music and because he is hard line on standards, according to your "standard" he is not cozy with the world?

Most people I know that left standards left because they came to realize the bible just does not support such notions as strongly as you or others tend to believe not because they wanted to move closer to the world.

Care to defend your remarks biblically or in the context of history?

Reprobate minds? Really? This is who Paul was referring to?

No, those who have left (many of them), have done so with a good conscience toward not just honesty with Scripture, but correcting the foundation of their house so that the building is more stable.

The alternative to disputing unbiblical standards is not being "cozy with the world."
