God can't give you what He doesn't have.

I was recently with someone who said that they'd had that spoken over them in a church service.

I was as bewildered as you probably are, and responded with, "God has everything! That doesn't make any sense."

He then elaborated and said, "No. We blame our suffering on God, but God can't give us suffering because God doesn't have suffering.
We blame our fear on God, but God can't give us fear because God doesn't have fear.
We blame our depression on God, but God can't give us depression because God doesn't have depression."

I found it profound and thought that someone on here might as well. Thought I'd share.
