Glad no one got hurt. And it is apparent the guy was turned away by the lady's response and perhaps even by divine intervention.
I admittedly have mixed feelings about this story. Especially when the lady says, "The most important thing is that God prevailed - in a situation that could have been very bad."
If things had turned out "very bad" God would have been there even prevailing and showing himself strong. I am finding and slowly accepting that in our weakness God shows His strength. When the cancer is NOT miraculously healed. When tragic death suddenly comes. There is God also - providing comfort and peace. Not because things are as we wish, but in spite of the same - faith still works and He prevails.

Hoovie, I love how you worded the bolded! You're right, regardless of whatever happens in life, God prevails!! How comforting.
