Tony Alamo
Isn't this guy in prison?
I live in SoCal. A brother and I left BJs restaurant to find "literature" from Tony Alamo ministries on our cars windshields.

The Apostle Paul spent two years (AD 60-61) in prison in Rome and ministered to people who came to see him, had people born again while visiting him and wrote epistles like Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Philemon (and maybe Hebrews)

Taking a child bride, in addition to a current bride, is something frowned upon in our current U.S. society but is and has been acceptable in other cultures for centuries. Our spiritual ancestors (Abram, David, etc) practiced customs like that.

He doesnt live in Sudan, he lives in America
Also in those cultures typically they are arranged marriages. It would seem he just likes the young ones.

sex with girls is illegal in the US, He also was arrested and convicted for taking a child (kidnapping) across state lines in order to commit his deeds

But seriously... nobody would compare a criminal like Tony Alamo to the Biblical "heroes of faith," would they?

'doh! They would!
Yeah. Abraham married Sarah when she was 9 years old and he was like seventy something. All of the manly studs in the Bible married 9 year old girls.
