I would like to recommend an evangelist

I usually don't post stuff like this, so if the admins can make a exception I appreciate it.

James Burris was just ordained in the UPCI as a evangelist this past week. He is based outta Life Tab in Houston and travels about 90% of the year. He is just breaking out to where he is getting booked solid and consistently. He just served the past few weeks at Bro. Rhodus church in Indiana and they had over 70 first time guests and had 18 baptized and 15 with the Holy Spirit... and this church is a brand new church without any manpower... they pretty much went out there and did it cold. Which is amazing for a tiny new independent Apostolic church with little support.

http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Ham...axpipe=1&__a=7 (the churches facebook page to look at their 2 weeks of praise reports)

I have been out with James a few times, and spent quite a bit of time with him at a big Tim Downs outreach in Galveston where he helped me learn more about face to face evangelism ... even though I am not UPCI anymore ... I can say he is a brother and "good folk". He flat out works when he is out there and drops thousands of door hangers, flyers, and compels folks to come and be baptized/repent on the spot. He would be as big a asset in a UPCI work as he would in a independent work and seems to play nice with everyone in case anyone has any worries in that department

If you could use a up and coming evangelist like that in your church for a week or two I would like for you to check him out. At the very least friend him on facebook and keep up with the exciting things he is doing. http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.p...0125951&ref=ts

Theres enough negative stuff about folks, I thought I would take a moment and give props to a UPCI brother who is working hard to make it happen for the kingdom and living the sacrificial lifestyle on the evangelistic field.

Some would say he's a complete lunatic, the renowned Evangelist Benincasa. Personally, I would recommend Todd Bentley. The dude kicks old ladies in the stomach better than anyone I've seen.

Wow! Of all the times you given others a lesson in good taste and Christlikeness and then you say this? Is this okay to say because you're only joking? Disappointed....

I didn't say EB was a complete lunatic, I said "Some would say"...which is true. It's been said about me. I usually take it as a compliment.

And if you're talking about the Todd Bentley thing...I was referring to the lady he kicked in the stomach as a way of "healing" her. And no...I'm not actually recommending him. Only a lunatic would recommend him!

Well... I'll come right out and say it! With love. (Love ya EB! but you are a lunatic when posting here).

I think the "lunatic" schtick is just part of the "fun" that EB has in his down time.

That may simply be some more lunatic ravings by folks having "fun." You're way more serious and certainly you espouse a more complete approach to doctrinal and lifestyle issues. EB just comes across as nuts - most of the time. There are times when his caffeine surge has calmed and he is reasonable and brotherly.

That kind of stuff is nuts. I'd much rather go and hear a "rock band" followed by a reasonable pastor preaching a "relevant" message.

Not surprised. I would say that over the years Mizzie has had issues decoding what is really said. It won't be long she might even say you are influenced by demons or Satan himself - (said in love, of course).

As for EB, I wouldn't say he's a lunatic but rather more of the former rocker/platoon sergeant ... gone Sanhedrin sacramentalist type with preterist overtones with a gummy-filled heart covered with a jawbreaker shell.

I thought your joke about Bentley and kicking an old lady in the stomach was on par with the Nancy Pelosi jokes. I realize you were joking but so were those who made fun of NP.

Just goes to show you are human too.
