The Resurrection

I'm only going to go into a small part of the resurrection for now.

Perhaps later I will do a larger explanation.

Are our bodies like that of Jesus Christ?

NO!

The bodies of Adam and Eve were made from the dust of the earth.

(Gen 2:7) And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

So our bodies come from Adam and Eve and theirs came from the ground.

Adam our Father, Eve our Mother.

But it was not so with Christ.

God was his Father and Mary was his Mother

(Luk 1:35) And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

When God came to Mary he spoke the word and that word (seed) entered into Mary and Jesus was later born.

This is how Jesus came out from God.

(Joh 1:14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The Word that God spoke became flesh, which was Christ.

That which was born of God (his word) is what was resurrected.

That which is born of God (through his word) is what is resurrected.

Which is why Jesus said....

(Joh 3:3) Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
(Joh 3:4) Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
(Joh 3:5) Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

So the prophet wrote...

(1Co 15:50) Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Flesh cannot inherit the kingdom of God

Corruption (the flesh) cannot inherit spirit.

Re: The Resurrection

What was there about man that died in the garden of Eden?

It was the spirit of man that died!

And then later also his body.

That is the reason that we must be born again of the water and of the spirit.

When we do so we enter into God's kingdom and presents again.

before His resurrection our bodies are just like Jesus' was. His resurrection body is just like what our resurrection bodies will be like.

His body came from the same dust ours did. When the bible says He is the Lord from Heaven whereas Adam was from the dust, it is referring to HIS RESURRECTION BODY, not the body he was born with.

His body was provided by Mary's fleshly body from the dust.

His flesh did not come from Heaven or God. Mary provided that.

Corruption (the flesh) cannot inherit spirit.
That is saying Mortal flesh cannot inherit the kingdom. But immortal CHANGED flesh can and will.

Divine flesh is error.
