Energy Policy in America
Do you really believe the largest economy in the history of the world can be operated by windmills, solar panels and batteries? Really?
No one has the guts to make the decisions that need to be made in order to get our country on a secure energy foundation. We must face the facts that we will not be competitive in the world running the country on batteries, solar and wind. The gutsy decisions would be to increase domestic offshore oil drilling on all sides: Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic, Pacific. Increase oil drilling in Alaska and in the lower 48. Increase the use of coal. Increase nuclear power plants.
This won't happen because we have no one with true courage to stand up to the lies of global warming, the lies about the dangers of oil drilling and the lies about nuclear energy. What will happen is, like the national debt, the can will kicked down the road until we are in such a dangerous position we will be forced to make courageous decisions, but a lot of pain and sacrifice will be forced on us or our kids as a result.
