Re: 500 Year Old Book Surfaces In Utah.
I had read about this earlier today and was surprised to learn that because a lot of the book is missing and its poor condition it is worth only about $50,000. A pristine edition of it is worth around one million dollars! There are a little over 200 of those books still in existence.
If I had it I think I would sell it off in single pages to collectors. I bet you could get more than $50,000 total doing that.
