What's this

Jeremiah 31:31-34..

Behold, the days come saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that i took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they break, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that i will make with the house of Israel; after those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD : for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

My question is about the Laws which he would write in our hearts?
What are those Laws..

Psalms 19
7 The law of the Lord is perfect,
reviving the soul;
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple;
8 the precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes;
9 the fear of the Lord is clean,
enduring forever;
the rulesd of the Lord are true,
and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
even much fine gold;
sweeter also than honey
and drippings of the honeycomb.
11 Moreover, by them is your servant warned;
in keeping them there is great reward.

Re: What's this

Gal. 3:19 AKJV

Why then serves the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should
come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a
mediator.

The law was given for transgession until the SEED (Jesus Christ) came. Jesus fulfilled the
law. The law was our schoolteacher to bring us to Christ. As long as a Royal family
member is underage, even tho they are an heir, until the age their father sets, there are
no different than a servant.
When I was a child being trained up, I was under the authority of my father and mother.
No other human person. I married 52 yrs ago and was under the headship of my husband.
My father was no longer my authority figure. But I received the Holy Ghost at age 18 and
met my husband to be a short time afterwards. He had just received the Holy Ghost also
at another church. God brought us together and the next year we married. (July 11, 1959)

Together we came under a new Headship. That of Jesus Christ. To me my late parents would
be considered the "law" that led me to Christ. They disciplined me and trained me up in the
way I "should" go. The Spirit we received has led and guided us for all these 52 yrs. The Word
tells us that HE will be our Guide, even unto death. How comforting to this husband and wife,
to know that HE will never leave us, or forsake us. He will abide with us forever!

New International Version (©1984)
hebrews 8:13
By calling this covenant "new," he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.

galations 3:24-25
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

NET
sn Two contexts are relevant for understanding this statement. First is the context of the first or old agreement which was characterized by a law written on stone tablets (e.g., Exo_32:15-16; Exo_34:1; Exo_34:28; Deu_4:13; Deu_5:22; Deu_9:10) or in a "book" or "scroll" (Deu_31:9-13) which could be lost (cf. 2Ki_22:8), forgotten (Hos_4:6), ignored (Jer_6:19; Amo_4:2), or altered (Jer_8:8). Second is the context of the repeated fault that Jeremiah has found with their stubborn (Jer_3:17; Jer_7:24; Jer_9:14; Jer_11:8; Jer_13:10; Jer_16:12; Jer_18:12; Jer_23:17), uncircumcised (Jer_4:4; Jer_9:26), and desperately wicked hearts (Jer_4:4; Jer_17:9). Radical changes were necessary to get the people to obey the law from the heart and not just pay superficial or lip service to it (Jer_3:10; Jer_12:2). Deu_30:1-6; Eze_11:17-20; Eze_36:24-28 speak of these radical changes. The Lord will remove the "foreskin" of their heart and give them a circumcised heart, or take away their "stony" heart and give them a new heart. With this heart they will be able to obey his laws, statutes, ordinances, and commands (Deu_30:8; Eze_11:20; Eze_36:27). The new agreement does not entail a new law; it is the same law that Jeremiah has repeatedly accused them of rejecting or ignoring (Jer_6:19; Jer_9:13; Jer_16:11; Jer_26:4; Eze_44:10). What does change is their inner commitment to keep it. Jeremiah has already referred to this in Jer_24:7 and will refer to it again in Jer_32:39.
79 sn Compare Jer_24:7; Jer_30:22; Jer_31:1 and see the study note on Jer_30:2.
