Question Got any suggestions??

I have been asked to begin teaching our Ladies Sunday School class at the end of next month. They've been doing "The Friendships of Women" for almost a year now and lost most of the ladies who used to attend because there is just not enough there to keep them interested.

So I am looking for suggestions. Are there any studies that you have done in any of your classes that were exceptionally good? Are there particular authors who do outstanding stuff? What have you liked? and what have you not liked?

Our Tuesday night Ladies Group has been doing Beth Moore studies for a while now. We did Revelation and now we're doing Daniel. EXCELLENT!! But far too lengthy for Sunday School. We have the typical 45 minutes to an hour.

Help me, please!

Re: Got any suggestions??

just a suggestion a good thing you could do is take women in the bible old and new, read there stories show the ups and downs of there life.

for instance sarai to sarah, the mother of many nations, focus on how her present situation od age effected her belief and how it is applicable today with our current situations and how it effects our faith as well.

or you can go off in a different route and focus on the silent heroes of the bible
like Hur in exodus how he helped aaron hold moses arms up to win the battle,

sometimes people may not feel important cause they have a undefined role, yet things they do truely do make a difference. Behind every Good man is a loving woman.

just some example to get you started with. However i would recommend you to seek out God in prayer He may have a totally different direction for you to go as well, and then he may allow you to have the freedom to teach whatever you desire on his word.
