Amy Winehouse found dead
LONDON -- Amy Winehouse, the beehived soul-jazz diva whose self-destructive habits overshadowed a distinctive musical talent, was found dead Saturday in her London home, police said. It is suspected that the 27-year-old died from a drug overdose, Sky News reports.

Years ago MTV used to have a documentary series about rock stars / bands. Almost all of them had the same storyline. Rock Star / Band gets famous, uses drugs & alcohol at incredible rates, all of their money goes to those drugs, cronies, bad investments through shady managers, and they end up broke addicts.
I remember thinking that you would think up and coming rock stars would see a pattern here and think it might be a good idea to not follow it.
Amy didn't have time to go through part of what I mentioned as the heavy drug use is what has taken her life so early I am sure. Very sad situation. I wish she had known the Lord.

I actually heard someone say, WOW I did not see that coming and actually believe it. I was wondering how blind that person had to be to NOT see this coming. I would not wish the rock star scene onto anyone. Very destructive lifestyle from all examples

That person must not have any clue as to her past. I don't know if it is true or not but I saw a news report this morning that said suposedly in the last few days she had bought cocaine, heroin, and three or four other drugs.
Without divine intervention it was only a question of when not if with this young woman.
