Titus2woman

Has anyone heard from her since her mom passed away? I am worried, but still praying for her peace.

I have. She is doing okay, but has a lot on her plate right now. Continue keeping her in your prayers!

Re: Titus2woman

Awww... you guys are beyond sweet!

Getting everything sorted after mom's passing was a big deal. Her desire to not have services of any kind has kind of left a big void in my family. I am not sure of her reasons and I am trying to respect her wishes but I really believe that funerals are much more for the living than the dead and some how we got cheated or our opportunity to grieve. Which makes me sound like a fussy baby... So when her ashes come back I think we may just have a service against her wishes... I mean what can she really do to us, right? (OK, maybe death humor is not for everyone )

I missed you guys too

Re: Titus2woman

if she doesn't want a funeral, how about a non alcoholic wake/memorial dinner

Re: Titus2woman

T2W, I think she would understand if she were aware of it. I know you love and miss her. Praying for God to comfort you.

Perhaps she was just thinking of not burdening family and friends with the high costs of funerals.
I think about myself sometimes...do I want my family to spend $6000-$10,000 to put me away? I would rather they use that money to take care of their own needs because I would be in a much better place.
