Husband Runs Over Wife
A niece of mine was visiting our house this afternoon when she got a telephone call that her grandfather had accidently run over or hit her grandmother with their car. She was bleeding from her ears and was lifeflighted by helicopter to the hospital.
This is an elderly couple who have been married something like 60+ years so I know the husband is devastated that he was the cause of this accident.
The latest word was that the wife recognized her husband in the ICU but not her grown children. They are waiting on an MRI.
Please pray for this woman, her husband, and the entire family.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Husband Runs Over Wife
I wish my first thoughts were true... that this was a joke.
So sorry for these people, and will pray for them. He must feel just horrible!

Re: Husband Runs Over Wife
Praying that God will be all over this entire situation. How horrible for all of them - especially the Grandpa. Asking God to please bring healing to Grandma, and PEACE to Grandpa.
